In this page, we present our vineyards grapes varieties.
This variety is very widespread in Navarra because it has been the most planted the last years. Tempranillo is suitable for age wines maturation. It is also know as Tinto of Rioja, Tinto fino, Cencibel, Jacibera, Ull de Llebre, Verdiell... We have 17 Hectares of this grape variety in our Navarra vineyards.
This grape variety originated in France, where is used in Bordeaux and Medoc wines. In Navarra this is the second planted grape variety the last years. We have 16 Hectares of this grape variety, so near half the vineyard surface. This a grape with small grains. Its grape juice and wine is very suitable for large rest in oak barrels and to coupage it to others wines. This varietal wine has good acidity, good aroma and excellent harmony.
This grape variety originated in Medoc at France. We grow three young hectares to coupage it with Cabernet Sauvignon.
Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are two varieties which coupage produces very good wines full of aroma and harmony.
This is the most abundant grape variety in Navarra. However, we have only a hectare of the Grenache grape variety in our vineyard that we coupage with Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon to get a few quantity of excellent rosé.
