In this page we present some previous vintages of the
wines we offer now in our cellars as well as special bottles we have
elaborated. This page is recommended for famous vintages collectors and
enthusiasts about wine world.
Viña Perguita, red 2005 - four months on
barrels
Grapes varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet
Sauvignon and Merlot.
Elaboration process: The fermentation
has been carried out on the skins over ten to twelve or more days in stainless
steel tanks under temperature control. The maximum fermentation temperature is
always below 28 ºC.
The juice was pumped over for several hours every
day during fermentation to extract color and flavor from skins. After it is
fermented, it rested four months on american oak barrels.
Product
description (tasting):
Deep cherry. Aroma of sun-drenched skins,
floral with spicy notes. Flavourfull fruity palate with quite marked oak
tannins with soft acidity. It presents a good mixture oak and barrel on a
complex wine.
Recommendations: This wine is suggested to
serve, between 14 to 18° C, with grilled meats, salads and soft cheeses. It
has not been stabilized or filter severely so, after time, natural components
may precipitate. We recommend decanting before
serving.
Alcoholic content: 12,5 % by
vol.
Bottle presentation:
Bordelesa 0,75 l.

We use to pack twelve (12) bottles
each box. However it is possible to pack six (6) bottles each box or other
possibilities by order.

Rosé
Viña Perguita 2005 |

Grapes varieties:
Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. Product description
(tasting): Beautiful raspberry, clean and bright color. Intense and
sophisticated in nose with varietal flavour. Fresh in the mouth. This is
young wine to be drunk in the year. Bottle
presentation: Rhin 0,75 l bottles. Alcoholic
content: 12,5 % by vol.

Pale raspberry with an orangey hue. Intense aroma of red
stone fruit with spicy hints of skins and a hint of citrus fruit freshness.
Flavourful, slightly fruity and fresh palate with refreshing
acidity.

Crianza

fermentation being carried out on the skins over 8 to 10 days
in stainless steel. The juice is pumped over for two hours every day during
fermentation. Ageing: Our Crianza 2002 is given twelve
months in American and French oak barrels. Product description
(tasting): This is a recommended wine to go with meat, though as
it has not a lot of strong is right with some fish. Bottle
presentation: Bordelesa 0,75 l
bottles. Packing: We use to pack twelve (12) bottles
each box. However it is possible to pack six (6) bottles each box or other
possibilities by order. Alcoholic content: 12,5 % by
vol.

Crianza

fermentation. Ageing: Our Crianza 2002 is given twelve
months in American and French oak barrels. Product description
(tasting): Brilliant garnet red cherry. Powerfull aroma of jammy
red fruit with a herbaceous freshness and fine smoky and spicy oak notes.
Flavourfull palate with fine wood tannins, slightly warm with good expression
of fruit and crianza. This is a recommended wine to go with meat, though as
it has not a lot of strong is right with some fish. Bottle
presentation: Bordelesa 0,75 l
bottles. Alcoholic content: 12,5 % by
vol.

fermentation. Ageing: Our Crianza is given eighteen months
in barrels that we select very carefully from American and French oak. We rack
after four months and then at six monthly intervals. Product
description (tasting): (Not available) This is a recommended
wine to go with meat, though as it has not a lot of strong is right with some
fish. Bottle presentation: Bordelesa 0,75 l
bottles. Boxes presentation: We use to pack twelve
bottles each box. However it is possible to pack six bottles each box by
order.
This wine has been awarded Gold Medal to
best Spanish wines 2003 by Radio Turismo (Spain), June
2003.

Pale garnet red. Aroma with reduction notes and nuts, smoky.
Flavourful palate with high acidity and bitter notes (wood tanins),
ripe.

barrells. Product description (tasting): It is cherry red
colour and brilliant. Wine presents clean and deep bouquet with important oak
contribution. It is broad and persistent Bottle
presentation: 0,75 l bordelesa and magnum 1,5 l
bottles. Boxes presentation: We use to pack twelve
bottles each box. However it is possible to pack six bottles each box by

Garnet red cherry. Aroma of caramel with notes of vanilla
and toasty oak and a suggestion of cabernet. Fleshy, slightly oily palate, with
a good wood/fruit integration and notes of green peppers.

Garnet red cherry. Aroma of ripe fruit with notes of orange
peel (reduction). Flavourful, light palate with polished wood tannins,
well-mannered.

Flavourful, slightly bitter palate of black pepper with good acidity and supple
tannins.
Viña
Perguita, reserva 1997
Grape
varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and
Merlot.
Agged in barrels one
year.
Bottled in 2000.
Product description
(tasting):
Garnet red cherry. Not very intense aroma of black fruit
with toasty and creamy oak notes. Flavourfull supple palate with well
associated oak fruit. Well balanced with excellent crianza
expression.
Suggestions: Red meat, roasted meat: lamb,
turkey, other grills and cheese.
Alcoholic
content: 12,5 % by vol.
Packing: Twelve (12)
bottles per case, six (6) bottles per case, three (3) bottles box, different
sizes wood boxes.

Deep garnet red with a brick red edge. Spicy aroma (white
pepper) with notes of toasty skins and cocoa. Fleshy palate with incisive ripe
fruit tannins, vanilla and spices, well-balanced.

Perguita reserva 1996

Garnet red cherry with a brick red edge. Intense aroma with
predominant reduction notes (leather, tobacco). Flavourful, fleshy and supple
palate with a good oak/fruit integration and a good expression of traditional
crianza.
Mrs. Debra Meiburg has spoken about this
wine in 2008: "This fine Bourdeaux-style wine is not the red party-grog of my
Navarra memories; this is a wine worthy of a once-powerful kigdom. In fact, I
might buy a few bottles and go running with the water buffalo on Lantau. Just
for old time's sake.". (Lantau is the largest island in Hong Kong, located at the
mouth of the Pearl River. It has an area of 146.38 km²)

Very deep cherry with a mahogany edge. Aroma of
full-throttle fruit, concentrated with notes of toasty skins, spices and fine
cocoa. Fleshy palate with flavourful tannins of slightly ripe fruit with
well-integrated wood and chocolate in the finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon (100%). This wine is batch fermented on
the skins. Oak ageing takes place over two years, racking
after four months and at six monthly intervals thereafter. We
bottled this vintage in June 1996. Product
description (tasting): Brilliant red color. Clean and deep bouquet
with important oak contribution. Very intense but pleasant on entry to the
mouth with good tannic structure. It is broad and persistent. This wine will
improve over the years, though now is a good moment to drink
it. Bottle presentation: Bordelesa 0,75 l
bottles. Boxes presentation: We use to pack twelve
bottles each box. However it is possible to pack six bottles each box by

1996) Clean and brilliant cherry red in color. Aromas of mediterranean
red fruit with vegetal notes. In mouth slight tannins, predominating the barrel
aging notes (wood, vanilla...) and nuts. Bottle
presentation: Bordelesa 0,75 l bottles. Boxes
presentation: We use to pack twelve bottles each box. However it is

Vintage:
1991. Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (100%). This is
the first monovarietal Cabernet Sauvignon wine we elaborated in our
cellar. This wine was aged in oak barrels during two
years. It was bottled in June 1994. This wine was first
presented in the Euroalimentación Trade of Bilbao
during 21 to 26 February 1995 and in the Club of Gourmets Salón of
Madrid celebrated during 17 to 20 march 1995. Gastronomy:
This wine is recommended for dishes as stew, roast and partridge and wild boar
hunted. Best temperature to drink this wine:
18ºC. |

Vintage:
1991. Grape varieties: Tempranillo and Cabernet
Sauvignon. Aged in barrels for a year and a half.. In
May 1994 we bottled in our cellar 3.425 bottles of a
particular and unique wine to be label numbered as a limited series to remember
the fourth Telecommunication Engineers promotion of the Bilbao
School. |

Vintage:
1991. Grape varieties:Cabernet Sauvignon and
Tempranillo. This wine was aged in french oak wood barrels
for a year and a half. We bottled in our cellars 3.867
bottles of a unique wine in May 1994 to be label numbered as a limited
series. Wine history: This wine was bottled for Miguel
Fernández de Arcaya to remember the first Agronomic Engineer promotion
of the Public University of Navarra. So the wine finished its aged at the same
time the new engineers completed their studies. |

This wine was presented by the
Navarra Public University in the International Cordova Trade Show during 12 to
16 of April 1994. |

Sauvignon. We aged this wine in oak barrels during a year
and a half. Best temperature to drink this kind of wine:

Vintage: 1990 (this
is the first grape harvest elaborated in our cellars
installations). Grape varieties: Tempranillo (100%). We
aged this wine in oak barrels during a year and a half. We
bottled, in June 1993, in our cellars, a total of 1.345
bottles of a particular and unique wine to be label numbered as a limited
series. History: This wine was bottled for
Joaquín Fernández de Arcaya as celebration of the third
Telecommunication Engineers promotion of the Bilbao School. |

Vintage: 1990 (first
vintage elaborated in the installations of our cellars). Grape
varieties: Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. We
aged this wine in oak barrels during a year. We
bottled it in June 1993. We presented this
wine in Christmas 1993. This is the first wine elaborated in our cellar to be
aged in oak barrels and to be presented. |

Vintage: 1990 (first
vintage elaborated in the installations of our cellars). Grape
varieties: Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Young red wine
without being aged in barrels. We bottled it in June
1991. We presented this wine in 1992. This was the first
red wine produced in our cellars. |
